TEETHING BITES!

Not if you like Popsicle's as much as Jaxon does, or those oh so MESSY teething biscuits. I love those things. They are like cat nip for babies. He gets so aggressive while he eats them. Who cares if I have to change his outfit 10 times that day, as long as it helps with his little "toofers"! His two bottom teeth are finally breaking through!

And he's On the MOVE!

Yes... He is on the move. Exploring everything high and low. His new adventure, trying to climb up on the couch and pull himself up on the chairs. Scares me to DEATH!

SNOW... SNOW and MORE SNOW

Breaking News...... Winter Record has been broken.



Texas has not seen this much snow fall since 1978! Jaxon has seen something new for the very first time. A see of WHITE!!!



Justin and Jaxon got to build his first snowman.









And even Tubby the cat enjoyed the snow... well not really. Justin just threw him in it to see what he would do. Atleast Jaxon thought it was funny, he giggled at him.







These last two pictures were actually taken at Justin's work. Dallas and Canton actually had the same amount of snow.... isn't it crazy! Only in Texas I guess. The next day was 70 degrees Beautiful BLUE skies!

S-U-P-E-R BOWL SUNDAY

It wasn't much of a SUPER bowl, but anytime that we can try to celebrate something we try to atleast have some fun.

My mom sent this VERY cool book to me for Valentines day and it is SO cute. For all those mom's out there that love arts and crafts for the kids, or those that just like to learn how to make slime and super silly putty.. check out this book. ADORABLE!

My dad bought this outfit for Jaxon a few months ago and it fits him perfectly now. So sad the 49'ers didn't make it to the playoffs though. Maybe next year! How about them cowboys though..... (no outfit yet)

Christmas at the Bogles

This year was all about starting new traditions. Now that Justin and I have started a family, and this being the first year being married we thought we should start off right. We went over to Justin's parents house for Christmas Eve, which has been their tradition as family. We had sandwiches and dips and exchanged gifts... all 17 of us. This year was a little different because there is a baby in the family again. 14 years difference between the last grandchild on the Bogle side and Jaxon. It was a wonderful Christmas Eve.

Jaxon was the first to unwrap his present from his grandmommy and granddaddy. He loves his new walker. He looks a little to old in it though.




We sang Christmas carols and Justin read the Christmas Story out of the bible. We took our traditional family picture (s) and then called it a night. Santa was coming and we needed to get to bed.

They always try to get a funny picture at some point. Jaxon was a trooper with all of his cousins. Not a peep. I think there were to many things to look at it, plus he was exhausted! He is such a good baby!




CHRISTMAS MORNING at our house will change from now on... this year was MELLOW because Jaxon is only 5 months old. But as Justin and I woke up and rolled out of bed around 9:30 that morning, we said to one another, " We may be all finished with opening up presents at 9:30 in the morning in a couple of years". Get our rest now!!!

We got brand new stockings this year, and they were so much fun. Stocking stuffer's are always the best anyways. This year our wrapping paper was a different then last years. Normally I try to find Victorian Santa Clause paper, but this year (santa) as I went shopping at the dollar store ( california store.. thank you very much) I found nascar paper for Justin, baby snowman paper for Jaxon and normal red glitter
(because I like red and glitter) for me. It was fun and exciting underneath our tree this year.





Jaxon got some really neat new toys this year. A little overwhelming maybe, especially because he liked the wrapping paper the best and the empty boxes to chew on. Oh, well it was fun for mom and dad to get Christmas all ready.







I think we took about 4 or 5 breaks, had some snacks. We watched the classic The Christmas Story Marathon all day. Took a nap, then finished unwrapping presents around 3 in the afternoon. I know... that soon will CHANGE! Something exciting to look forward to.
Instead of going to Justin's parent's house again for Christmas dinner, we started our own tradition and had a candle lit Christmas dinner around the table. I had a blast putting it together and making it extra special just for the three of us. It was a quite and simple Christmas around here, just how we like it.
