Diggin' in

Oh this boy loves to eat. Such a munch mouth. After much consideration I decided to give Jaxon a little taste of rice cereal ( 1 tablespoon to be exact)... He can't get enough. We literally have to stop the little guy from eating too much. Once he is done eating cereal, he wants to quickly nurse. It's like he thinks he's hurting my feelings or something.

Tubby the big brother

Our cats have taken a backseat since Jaxon has joined our family, and our crazy feline Tubby was definatly neglected while I was pregnant with Jaxon. So we weren't quite sure how he would react having this new creature living in our house, but Tubby..... hmmmm..... has proven to us that he is a Good big brother! Sometimes we wonder if he would prefer to be human rather then cat.

He guards us while Jaxon sleeps...

He gaurds him while he watches TV...

He guards him while we play and have our talks...

He goes into Jaxon's room and brings us things to help calm Jaxon down if he is crying at night.... the trail of Tubby's helpfulness.

The other night Jaxon and I fell asleep on the couch. I had left a blanket on the floor, which the cats know not to go on the blanket in fear that they will be sprayed with the fabreeze bottle. I woke up to feed Jaxon and turned on the light, I looked down at the blanket and in the middle of the night Tubby had brought to us a stuffed monkey from Jaxon's room and a bottle nipple ( still not sure where he found that ... tossed that one away).

He has to sit with Jaxon and Dad while watching football...

When he does go outside he frantically follows us to make sure we are protected....

I guess I should be grateful that he is bringing us socks, blankets and stuffed animals rather then the critters that live outside here in Texas--- YIKES!

Thanks Tubby, you are a good big brother, but sorry you still are just a CAT!

Sam on the other hand is CLUELESS and prefers to be outside, climbing trees ( where they should be, and YES he is in that tree ) and is still wondering what happened to his tail.
