Justin's Accents!

We love mornings with our little guy. He loves sleeping right in between Justin and I. Jaxon stretches, has the cutest morning expressions and wiggles while we talk and sing good morning songs to him. Well this morning, as we were getting ready to see sunshine and start our day, Justin talked to Jaxon as he normally does about what chores he will have to accomplish today and that Jaxon needed to help him. He was talking to Jaxon in his normal "daddy voice" but wanted to change it up a little and talk austrialian. (picture it.... austrialian with a soouthern accent... yes it can be done).
With only knowing a few key phrases in austrialian he caught that Jaxon was focusing on him, intensly. So Justin knocked out "THE DINGO ATE YOUR BABY" in his so called austrialian accent and Jaxon smiled and let out a little chuckle. It was our first that Jaxon smiled directly to someone, and having it be his daddy was absoutley wonderful. It might have been gas, but we think it was Jaxon laughing at his Justin's silly voice. Needless to say, Justin tried all of his accents that he knows and tried again for the most precious thing to happen again. Next time we will have to have our camera ready. It was definatly a good start to our morning.

One Month Old

He Loves his bath!!!

Sleeping with Mom...

and Sleeping with Dad!

Meeting his Aunt Gennie. He really did love her. She even put him to sleep one night. She wasn't quite ready to have him sleep with her all night though. Maybe next visit.

He loved his "passy" too. ( Allison, do those pj's look familiar?)

I can not believe that our precious baby boy is 1 month old. It really does go by fast. Each day is something new and fun and I absolutely love being a mom. It is the best feeling anyone can ever imagine. I can not picture my life without our beautiful baby boy. The whole 27 hours of labor was SOOO worth it!!!!!

I don't even mind the sleepless nights. I do have to admit that having my mom and Gennie here visiting was wonderful and Justin and I were completely spoiled. I loved having them here.... wish they can come back tomorrow!!! ( Hint ... hint)
